Bacon Wrapped Dill Pickles with Dill Ranch Dip

These crazy-good bacon wrapped dill pickles are about to become your new appetizer obsession, especially when you’re looking for something seriously easy to whip up. Don’t be surprised when you spot guests making repeated trips to the appetizer table just for these savory, tangy bites!

What I absolutely love about this wrapped pickles recipe is the perfect balance of textures and flavors. The salty, crisp bacon complements the cool crunch of the pickle, while the creamy dill ranch sauce brings everything together. These small butes are perfect for game day, holiday parties, or a casual gathering!

Why You’ll Go Hog Wild for This Recipe

SO Much Flavor: Savory bacon and tangy pickles…need I say more?! The combination is flavor perfection. Plus, the creamy dill dip adds an extra layer of flavor and silky texture!

Bite-Sized Appetizer: Each pickle gets wrapped individually and cut into bite-sized pieces, making them ideal for grabbing and mingling.

Easy to Make: These bacon-wrapped pickles are the easiest appetizer I have ever made. With just a handful of common ingredients, you can make enough to feed a crowd in just 20 minutes!

Ingredients Notes

Here’s a picture of what you’ll need to make these bacon wrapped pickles appetizers. (Scroll down for the full, printable recipe card.)

Sour cream, dried dill, bacon strips, whole pickles, and ranch dip mix.

1 cup sour cream – Full fat sour cream is best, since it offers the most flavor!

2 tablespoons ranch dip mix – Packed with herbs and seasonings that complement the pickles and bacon.

1 teaspoon dried dill weed – Add a little extra dill to tie together the ranch and pickles even more.

15 strips pre-cooked bacon – Pre-cooked bacon is the way to go here. It cooks quickly and is way easier to use than the raw version.

4 to 5 large dill pickles – Choose firm, whole dill pickles! We will cut them up into smaller pieces to make it easier to wrap and enjoy.

Equipment Needed

You just need a few common kitchen items to whip up these bacon wrapped dill pickles. Here’s what you’ll need:

A small mixing bowl.

A microwave-safe safe plate.

How to Store Leftovers

Refrigerate leftover pickle bacon bites, tightly covered, and enjoy within 2 days.

Can I make these with sweet pickles?

Yes, you can totally make them with sweet pickles! In fact, you can make bacon wrapped pickles with sweet, spicy, or garlic pickles. Since bacon goes with literally anything, any pickle would be delicious here. You can also use dill pickle spears (instead of whole pickles) if you prefer!

Can these be served hot?

We like these appetizers at room temperature to keep the pickles crunchy. If you prefer, just before serving you can heat the appetizers in a 350 degree F oven until hot, turning over once during cooking, about 4 to 5 minutes.
