Let's Make Bacon Baked Beans in the Smoker!

Savory, sweet, smoky flavor. Perfect popular side dish for all occasions!

Beans, bacon, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, onions, and jalapenos!

DIRECTIONS:  1. Preheat your smoker to 225 degrees F with medium smoke.

2. Cook chopped bacon in a cast iron skillet on the stove over medium heat.

3. Drain bacon, and keep 1 tablespoon of bacon drippings in the pan.

4. Cook the onion, jalapeno and garlic in the bacon drippings until tender.

5. Add the beans, ketchup, brown sugar, beer, molasses, BBQ sauce and seasonings.

6. Put the skillet on the rack over indirect heat in the smoker.

7. Smoke until beans are hot and bubbling, about 2 1/2 hours. Stir beans every 30 minutes.

8. Top with reserved bacon,  serve and ENJOY!
