Bacon Butter

Let's Make

INGREDIENTS: * 6 slices thick cut bacon * 2 cloves garlic, unpeeled * 1 cup butter * 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese * 1/2 teaspoon  black pepper *Bacon lardons or bacon bits

How to Use Bacon Butter: * On a hot steak * With biscuits * Spread on a burger * To top potatoes * Over hot pasta * On a butter board * On warm cornbread * On a charcuterie board

DIRECTIONS: 1. Chop bacon in 1/2 inch pieces with a sharp knife or kitchen scissors.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until brown and crispy. Drain and save 2 tablespoons bacon fat. 

3. Cook the unpeeled garlic cloves in a skillet over medium heat until lightly brown and fragrant. Peel and chop.

4. Put cooked bacon, butter, bacon fat, chopped garlic, Parmesan cheese and pepper in the food processor.

5. Process until bacon is chopped up and mixture is thoroughly blended.

6. Adjust seasonings and spread into a serving dish. Garnish with bacon lardons or bits if you wish.

7. Serve and Enjoy!
