Best Meatloaf  Wrapped in Bacon!

– 11 slices bacon – 1.5 lbs. ground chuck – 1/3 c. bread crumbs – 2 eggs – 1/3 c. chopped onion and green pepper – 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce  salt and pepper – 1/3 c. BBQ sauce

INGREDIENTS

1. Lay 5 strips bacon on parchment. Begin weaving with one slice of bacon.

2. Continue weaving, over and under, with remaining bacon.

3. Place the weave and parchment paper on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, combine meatloaf ingredients and form into an oval loaf.

5. Let the bacon weave cool for 15 minutes and blot any excess grease.

6. Wrap meatloaf with the bacon weave, tucking it under and securing with toothpicks.

7. Brush with BBQ sauce and bake to an internal temp of 160 degrees, about 1 hour.

8. Slice and Enjoy!
