Bacon Broccoli Cheddar Quiche is a savory and flavorful dish that combines crispy bacon, tender broccoli, and melted cheddar cheese in a flaky crust. It's perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or even a light dinner.
In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Drain all but 1 tablespoon bacon drippings. In the same skillet, add the onion and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes. Add the broccoli and cook over medium heat until tender, about 4-5 more minutes. Cool briefly.
Sprinkle a handful of the cheese on the bottom of the pie shell, and spoon the onions and broccoli evenly over the cheese. Sprinkle the bacon on top, followed by the rest of the cheese.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, half and half, seasoning salt, table salt, and black pepper until well combined. Evenly pour the quiche filling mixture over the other ingredients into the pie shell.
Bake the quiche in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown. Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Makes 6 servings.
