This easy dip recipe features zingy horseradish sauce, sour cream and crispy bacon with seasonings. It's simple to make and so tasty served with chips or veggies. The perfect party appetizer!
1green onionwhite and green parts finely chopped and kept separate
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream and horseradish sauce. Stir well to blend.
Add the onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, chopped white part of the green onion, seasoning salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and all but 2 tablespoons of the bacon bits. Stir well to blend.
Transfer the mixture to a serving dish. (If you’re making the dip ahead of time, cover and refrigerate it now.)
Just before serving, garnish with the reserved bacon bits and chopped green part of the scallion. Serve with your favorite chips, veggies or crackers. Makes about 10 servings.
Notes
To make in advance: Follow the directions above through Step 3. Cover the dip and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Put the reserved bacon bits in a baggie and refrigerate. Just before serving, remove the dip from the refrigerator and stir. Garnish with reserved bacon bits and the chopped green part of the green onion.To store leftovers: Refrigerate within two hours of being served. Transfer the leftover dip to an airtight glass or plastic container with a tight fitting lid, and store in the coldest part of your fridge. Use within 3 days.
